Qualification and Eligibility RequirementsThe admission test is open to Indian Nationals only. A candidate having Bachelor’s degree of minimum three-year duration in any discipline from a recognized university is eligible to apply. In addition, the candidate must have mathematics as a
compulsory subject at 10 plus 2 level.
The candidates will be admitted on the basis of admission criteria applicable at the time of admission. The admission will be open to those who have domicile of Uttarakhand while some seats as per rules will be filled on All India basis.
List of Institutes and the seats available at each institute are given in Point No. 17 of Information Brochure. The number of institutes listed may increase/decrease and there may be an increase/decrease in the number of seats in an Institute. No separate notification will be issued in this connection.
Selection ProcedureSeparate Merit List will be prepared for eligible candidates belonging to various categories on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test. In case of candidates securing the equal marks the relative merit shall be decided on the basis of date of birth, with person born earlier getting higher merit.
Scheme of Written TestThe duration of the test will be 2 hours (Two Hours). The language of Written Test will be English only and the question paper will be objective in nature. Use of log table, slide rule, calculator and mobile phone is strictly prohibited. Multiple responses to one question will be considered as a wrong answer and will be awarded zero marks.
