Test Date : 28.05.2011, Test time : 10 AM to 12 Noon
Eligibility:Bachelors degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in major / honours subject or 55% marks in aggregate for those candidates having no major/honours. Passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level.
Relaxation: 5% relaxation in marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
Test Centers: Agartala, Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jorhat, Kokrajhar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, North Lakhimpur, Pune, Patna, Siliguri, Shillong, Silchar, and Tezpur.
Intake: 60
Exam Pattern: The written test consists of three parts: (i) Logical Reasoning and Basic Mathematical Ability, (ii) Mathematics (10+2 level) or fundamentals of Computer Science and (iii) English composition.
How to Apply:TU application form along with the prospectus can be obtained (i) from the designated branches of PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK by paying Rs. 510/- (Rs. 260/- for SC/ST) or (ii) in person by paying Rs. 500/- ( Rs. 250/- for SC/ST ) from the office of the Controller Examinations, T.U., or (iii) by sending a request to the Controller of examination, T.U. with a demand draft of Rs. 560/- (Rs. 310/- for SC/ST ) in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur, with a self addressed unstamped envelope of 36 cm x 25 cm., or (iv) downloading the forms from the TU website. Downloaded application form should be accompanied by a draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur for Rs 500/- ( Rs.250/- for SC/ST ).
Candidates applying for more than one programme should apply separately for each programme. Duly filled in application forms should be sent to the Controller of Examinations, Tezpur University, Tezpur (Napaam) 784028.
